ducks, bucs, and big ol trucks

What a fun filled Saturday! So many firsts happened today!

For one, Eliza, Brandon, and I went shooting out in the middle of nowhere Jonesborough and it looked like this

So beautiful!! It is so amazing this is basically our backyard. Shooting skeet is so much fun! I had never done that before. It only reaffirmed my desire to be a hunter. I think I will go and get my license so I can hunt turkey and ducks!! Maybe I will get a turkey and eat him for thanksgiving. We will see.

ETSU had their first exhibition game today, so it was also my first time in the studio for a basketball game. I talked live on the radio twice! I gave updates of different games. This is also something I had never done before. I was completely unaware that I was going to be saying anything on live radio until about 10 minutes before I actually did it, which was pretty nerve wracking. But really, I was just so excited. I quickly texted everyone I could think of and told them to listen! It was pretty cool…that job is so fun. GO BUCS!!

I was invited to go to a “truck pull” tonight. Eliza was super stoked about this. Having absolutely no idea what a truck pull was, I was not as eager to go. Anyways, this is a truck pull…

People like...gather...for these things. Gotta love the South!!!
So, I could have had another first time experience and gone to the truck pull, which would have been a great photo op for facebook pics, but sometimes it is good to just stay home and work on art projects. :)

the first

i need a blogger 101 and to stop subscribing to things with the same email address, cuz it is getting hard to remember all these passwords. also, i need to figure out all sorts of codes and whatnot.

i feel as though blogs are supposed to be profound and inspirational or something, but really...i am not those. so, sorry. everyone is blogging these days...so i am trying it. whatever its not a big deal. now, someone teach me the tricks to this thing.

honestly, i need to go to sleep. but i am on ARIZONA time and cant fall asleep. and knowing that i dont have to wake up for class in the morning is not helping. lets see if i can show you a photo of my beautiful weekend destination...

perfect :) ...i took this THIS MORNING alongside the ASU campus in phoenix. SO NICE. it was on my 4 hour flight home that i decided to get a blog because i was having many thoughts and i wanted to organize them. so i wrote them out (which i never do) and it felt good. so i decided, hey...thats what a blog is for. and you never know when you can share something about your life that will be inspirational, or something like that, in someone else's.

so here we have it, that is it for now because my contacts are dry and its 2 30 in the morning...ridiculous!
